(Vancouver, B.C.) Mr. Jeff Booth, President and CEO of BuildDirect, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Glen Darou to BuildDirect’s Advisory Board.
Mr. Darou has 16 years senior executive experience with two major international resource sector corporations. As Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Shell Canada Limited, and later as Vice-President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer of Cominco Ltd., he directed the overall financial affairs of these companies. He also served in the role of Chief Information Officer with Shell Canada and Co-Chaired Cominco’s Internet business strategy.
Mr. Darou holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the provincial institutes for chartered accountancy in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario.
